Damage to your car

If your car is damaged in an accident, fire or attempted theft, or if it’s stolen we’ll get you back on the road. We’ll repair your car, or if that’s not possible we’ll pay you the value of the car at the time it was damaged. If you're the first owner of your car and it's less than a year old, and it's damage for more than 50% of the value, or stolen and not recovered - we'll replace the car for a new one of the same make and model.

Windscreen Cover

You don't need to worry about losing your no claims discount if you damage your windscreen. We'll get our approved repairer to repair or replace it. And if you damage your side and rear windows, or sunroof, they'll fix those too. We'll even pay to fix the bodywork if it's damaged by broken glass.

Dual Controlled Courtesy Car

If your car is damaged in an accident or has been stolen or damaged by fire or vandalism and we are repairing your car, we'll give you a small hatchback courtesy car. You can use this car while our approved repairer fixes yours. And you'll have your usual level of cover when you drive it. If the claim is non fault, they will provide you with a dual controlled car whilst yours is being repaired or until your write off claim is settled. If the claim is fault they will provide you with a dual controlled car for a period of 28 days.

Unisured Driver Protection

If you have an accident with an uninsured driver, we'll make sure you don't lose your no claims discount – as long as the accident wasn’t your fault. You'll just need to give us the details of the driver and their car and we’ll do the rest. We’ll look into the details of the accident. While we do this we may reduce your no claims discount. But don’t worry, if you weren't at fault, we'll return your no claims discount back to its original level.
